Worried about how to vote? Here's some information that may help. By Mail - Deadline to apply online or through the Returning Office is Tuesday April 22, at 6pm. Deadline for Elections Canada in Ottawa to receive your ballot is Monday Apr 28, at 6pm. On Campus at a Post-Secondary Institution - Sunday April 13 to Wednesday April 16th. In a Hospital - Elections Officials will go room to room and by appointment Armed Forces - Members vote as anyone can but may vote on base if you prove your identity and service number, and are registered Correctional Institutions - Will have Liaisons for incarcerated voters to vote. Voting day is Wednesday April 16. If you can complete a ballot and put it in an envelope but are homebound due to illness, you may vote by mail (see above). If you cannot complete a ballot and put it in an envelope but are homebound due to illness, please contact the Returning Office (866-249-5757) to make special arrangements.
